The DAISSy Research Group of the Hellenic Open University (HOU) supports once again this year the “Spring Days 2026” initiative organized by the School of Sciences & Technology (SST) of the HOU, where it actively participates and contributes to its promotion. The event is organized on Saturday, March 21, 2026, 10.00am - 18.00pm, at the headquarters of the HOU, in Patras, Greece (Amphitheater-Building D, 18 Parodos Aristotelous str, GR-26335 Patras), providing the possibility of online participation (via the Webex electronic platform).
Specifically, the event will provide the researchers, doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers and faculty members of the SST-HOU, the opportunity to present their research and development activities, so as to promoting and disseminating the work produced by the School, conducting scientific dialogue and creating research partnerships.
DAISSy-HOU strongly supports the “Spring Days 2026” initiative where Achilles Kameas, Professor of SST-HOU, Director of the Research Group, participates in the Chair Board regarding the thematic unit on “Informatics Sciences and Technology”, and DAISSy researchers, project managers, will deliver presentations. In parallel, the Research Group contributes to the promotion of the action through its own communication channels, at a national and international level.
It is noteworthy, that the “Promotion and Outreach Committee” of SST has been paying a remarkable effort and has succeeded in making the “Spring Days” an institution for the scientific community.
