The DAISSy Research Group of the Hellenic Open University (HOU) is the sole Greek partner in the consortium of the International Master Program in Social Innovation entitled "Training and Education in Social Innovation – Transnational Master (TESI-TN Master)". The main purpose of the TESI-TN Master is the training of a new generation of Social Innovation Executives capable of designing, implementing, and evaluating innovative social interventions and policies.
Specifically, the TESI-TN International Postgraduate Program aims at developing knowledge, skills, and international collaborations required for designing and implementing social innovations. Through modern educational methods and real case studies, participants will gain valuable experience and will use practical tools for designing, implementing, and evaluating innovative solutions that will contribute to sustainable social development in one the most dynamic Macro-Regions of Europe.
Leveraging its multi-year experience in developing educational programs and tools, DAISSy-HOU will actively participate in the implementation of the TESI-TN Master. At the teaching level it will focus on the field of "Data Analysis and Participatory Design for Social Innovation". At the same time and through its extensive national and European network of collaborations, DAISSy will strengthen the bonds among Universities, public bodies, businesses, and civil society organizations, contributing to the dissemination and maximum exploitation of the project's results.
The TESI-TN Master is a two-year project (from May 2026 to May 2028), co-funded by the INTERREG VI-B IPA ADRION program of the European Union. It is coordinated by the University of Bologna (Italy), and the partnership includes Research Centers and Universities from Italy, Albania, Croatia, Serbia, San Marino, and Greece, where the Hellenic Open University - DAISSy Research Group is as the implementing body.
