Advanced Media Literacy Education to counter online hate-speech

_ Description

The project aims to train teachers and representatives of school communities on the methodology "Manifesto of Non-Hostile Communication", which has been developed by Parole Ostili, in order to combat the phenomenon of online hate speech among youngsters. Two tools have been developed on that direction: a. an interactive platform, developed by DAISSy-HOU, which includes all the relevant material and enhances the possibility to discuss cases and carry out bottom-up initiatives for the participating schools, and b. a European network of those schools. Lastly, the results of the platform's pilot will also provide data for an upcoming, relevant c. Policy paper.
