DAISSy-HOU leads the way in DigiCLASS pilot evaluation and digital competence assessment

Two complementary frameworks have been developed by the “Digital Competence Levels Assessment in School Education – DigiCLASS” Erasmus+ European project, undergoing by the DAISSy Research Group of the Hellenic Open University (HOU) as the Greek partner. The frameworks aim at supporting the implementation and evaluation of digital competence assessment in schools, namely: the Methodological and Pedagogical Framework (D4.1) sets out how the Pix approach can be adapted to different school contexts, while the Evaluation Framework (D5.1), defines how the forthcoming pilot will be assessed. Τhese project deliverables, connect the pedagogical design of DigiCLASS with a structured plan for evaluating its implementation, with the DAISSy-HOU playing a leading role.

World Teachers’ Day is designated annually on October 5th, aiming at highlighting the pivotal role teachers play in building a fair, peaceful, and sustainable world. This day marks the anniversary of the adoption of the 1966 ILO/UNESCO Recommendation concerning the Status of Teachers—a fundamental international framework that establishes clear standards regarding teachers’ rights and responsibilities, their initial training and continuous professional development, their employment conditions, and their pedagogical and working environments.
