CrAL

Creative Audiovisual Lab for the promotion of critical thinking and media literacy

_ Description

The project aims to provide school teachers with the necessary competences on audiovisual education through the “Creative audiovisual writing and reading” methodology, and consequently to empower students (aged 14-19) on the acquisition of critical thinking and media literacy skills. Specifically, it develops an innovative training path for teachers through the design of multilingual and multimedia educational contents included in a course. It involves 15 tutors, 60 teachers trained in a 5-week blended course and 250 students, and its final target is to create an international Community of Practice (CoP) and to produce Policy recommendations on audiovisual contents for inclusive education.
