_ Description

GenderED Coalition Project aims at shedding light on the phenomenon of gendered disinformation and violence in social media and tackle the misogyny that stands beside this online phenomenon, through two intertwined actions: educating and campaigning. The project intends to raise awareness and empower all social media users who feel unsafe or attacked, to react to gendered disinformation. GenderED builds a Community of Practice that creates synergies among MIL Educators, gender experts, activists and artists - to campaign online to reverse the narratives on girls and women, debunking the false and misleading representations that stem from stereotypes and deep socio-cultural misogyny.
