The DAISSy Research Group of the Hellenic Open University (HOU) participated in the General Assembly (GA) 2026 of the ALL DIGITAL (AD) European Network, held on May 7th -and 8th 2026, in Brussels, Belgium.
AD is one of Europe’s leading networks dedicated to enhancing the digital skills and competences of all citizens. It represents more than one hundred ten (110) member organisations and over 25,000 Digital Competence Development Centres across Europe. The Network continues to expand steadily, reflecting both the significance of its mission and the impactful work it carries out in promoting digital inclusion and empowerment.
The DAISSy-HOU was represented at the AD General Assembly 2026 by Ms. Eleni Georgakakou, Head of Operations and Communications at DAISSy and elected Deputy Chair of the ALL DIGITAL Board for the current two-year term. Ms. Georgakakou actively contributed to shaping the future direction of the Network and of the European digital skills landscape through her participation in all key discussions.
It is worth noting that since 2016, DAISSy-HOU has been an active member of the ALL DIGITAL Network and has served as the National Coordinator for several of its initiatives, including the ALL DIGITAL Weeks campaign, significantly enhancing the visibility and dissemination of relevant good practices across Greece. Professor Achilles Kameas, Director of DAISSy at HOU, served as a Member of the ALL DIGITAL Board of Directors for eight years, including as President during the 2019-2021 term, leaving a strong mark through his innovative vision and contributions.
The DAISSy Research Group of HOU continues to play a leading role at the international level in promoting digital skills development for all and combating digital exclusion, and remains committed to advancing this mission with vision, consistency, and dedication.
